SUMMARY:Working with alcohol related brain injury
DESCRIPTION:This NewLink Wales course is aimed at people working in services that see individuals who drink excessively and are therefore at risk of alcohol related brain injuries. It will explore the necessary skills to recognise potential or established Alcohol Related Brain Injury (ARBI)\, to be able to work with individuals with this condition and make appropriate referral through assessment and care.  \nBy the end of this course participants will be able to explain the common disorders associated with ARBI and recognise the symptoms of the potential for\, or established ARBI. Participants will also be able to plan for the immediate actions necessary and select brief assessment tools that can be used to increase the recognition and management of individuals at risk of ARBI.
