SUMMARY:Living Room Cardiff / CAIS "Love and Forgiveness" retreat
DESCRIPTION:Living Room Cardiff / CAIS is holding the next “Love and forgiveness” Retreat in July at Trefeca in Brecon. Theme: “Came to believe” \nIt is the perfect chance for you to spend a weekend in (the gorgeous!) welsh countryside\, and share with other like-minded people in a safe\, loving and non-judgmental environment.   \nYour recovery is very important and often the stress of work/life can wear you down and take away some of that “in the moment” time\, that you personally need to rest and reflect. This weekend will give you a chance to take some of that time back in a meaningful and beneficial way. \nThe retreat runs from 7th – 9th March and is costed at £150 with places limited. This includes accommodation\, all meals\, tea and coffee throughout the weekend and study resource material. \nAt this retreat you will:– Learn about the 12-step programme of recovery;– Break through the fears that hold you back (including unconscious fears);– Learn how to “love the cancer within” and embrace the dark side of our psyche;– Boost your self-esteem;– Learn how to forgive and heal the wounds of the past;– Improve your communication skills.

SUMMARY:International Women's Day
DESCRIPTION:Empowering women in Wales in times of austerity \nThe programme on the day will include talks from guest speakers about ‘Empowering Women in Times of Austerity’\, in addition to a rich entertainment programme\, which includes various performances and a multicultural fashion show.  \nThere will be entertainment activities for children\, including face painting and paper design; while the mothers could enjoy the beauty and complementary therapies with lots of surprise treats. \nA buffet lunch will be served on the day.  \nThere will be information stalls from various organisations & partners from the statutory\, private and third sectors publicising and informing BME communities about their services.
