SUMMARY:Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
DESCRIPTION:CBT is a psychotherapeutic approach to problem solving and reaching goals is future focussed – although we seek to understand how past events led the person to where they are now\, the approach is very much about moving on. This model of psychotherapeutic interventions provides evidence based and easily evaluated tools for use by key workers across the drug treatment system and throughout the health and social care sector.  \n VOLUNTARY SECTOR WORERS- £125.00 STATUTORY SECTOR WORKERS – £135.00 This includes facilitation\, handouts\, refreshments and a buffet lunch. \nBy the end of the course participants will have developed skills and knowledge in: \n – The relationship between thoughts\, feelings and behaviour – CBT skills – Assessing the service user – CBT Skills – Thinking about thinking – CBT Skills – Replacement Thoughts & Thought Diaries – 5 point case formulation – The Therapeutic Alliance – Resistance and Ruptures in the Therapeutic Relationship – Safeguarding the practitioner
