SUMMARY:The Cardiff Learning Market 2013
DESCRIPTION:The Cardiff Learning Festival group\, in partnership with Niace Dysgu Cymru\, is putting on a free event for adult learners. The event is being held to tie in with the ‘New Start\, New Course’ Campaign\, which encourages adults right across Wales to sign up for a new course or activity.  There will be:Family Craft ActivitiesCake Decorating \nFitness Testing \nEnrolment /Course Information \niPad DemonstrationsIndian Head Massage \nIntro To SaxophoneCreative Writing  The event will also act as a networking opportunity for all learning providers involved. This is a new initiative where it is intended to strategically target those hardest to reach learners in Cardiff.This event will be a fantastic free opportunity to:–        Advertise and promote your courses/training to adult learners and potential learners. SUMMARY:Celebrating The Living Room Cardiff's 2nd birthday
DESCRIPTION:A concert to celebrate a special 2nd birthday! A new children’s choir – Côr Plant Caerdydd – will perform for the first time at The Birthday Bash\, a concert to celebrate the second birthday of the Living Room Cardiff.  Popular entertainer Idris Charles will compere the birthday celebrations and joined on stage by a range of performers including Elin Parisa Fouladi\, Charlie Lovell-Jones & Friends and Perfect Recall. All proceeds from the concert will go towards the running costs of the Living Room Cardiff. Wynford Ellis Owen\, Chief Executive of the Living Room Cardiff\, said\, “The evening promises to be something special! It’s amazing to think the Living Room Cardiff only opened its doors two years ago and here we are celebrating not only its existence – but our hopes for its long term future and development.” The Living Room Cardiff is a community-based recovery centre that has an “all addictions” approach and welcomes anyone who needs support in taking that first step towards recovery or wanting to maintain their ongoing recovery. The Living Room Cardiff also welcomes and provides advice and support for family members\, partners and friends of people who have been affected by these addictions.  Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children and tickets will be on sale at the door or by calling the Living Room Cardiff on 029 2049 3895 or by emailing info@welshcouncil.org.uk.
