SUMMARY:Audio editing training course
DESCRIPTION:Participants will learn the basic storytelling and technical skills needed to produce an interview generated audio story. The Participation Cymru course will be hands on and practical and will give advice and training in the most effective interview techniques as well as in the editing and recording skills necessary. \nThe aim of the course is to equip participants with the skills needed to effectively produce a good quality audio story. \n    \nBy attending this course you will be able to:  \n – Use an audio recorder – Prepare an interviewee and interview questions appropriately – Conduct an interview with confidence – Prepare a storyboard using an interview recording – Understand the process of being the interviewee and the facilitator – Use audio editing software to edit a voiceover and create a story – Post produce a story into the correct format for CD or online – Participants will leave with a CD of the story they have created \n     \nThis course is aimed at those who want to work with individuals to gather their experience or story. Once recorded these stories can be used in a variety of ways including as podcasts\, as content for websites or for training purposes. SUMMARY:Reducing Stress and Increasing Emotional Resilience
DESCRIPTION:This Diverse Cymru course is centred on the notion of mindfulness and increased well being. Workplaces have become increasingly stressful in the past years and apart from job stress\, there are also many events in life that can cause stress\, such as relationships\, financial difficulties and our attitudes and behaviours. \nThis course uses simple mindfulness techniques to help you reduce that stress and increase your ability to deal with it\, so leading to improved health and well-being.  \nFeedback comments:  \n‘Eye-opening day. SUMMARY:Cardiff and Vale Employers' Network forum
DESCRIPTION:Physical activity and workplace health \nThis is the second forum meeting for employers in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. The aim of the network is to support organisations to promote and protect the health and well-being of their employees.  \nThe forum session on 4th July is focusing on physical activity at work\, and how this can improve the health of the workforce and organisational performance. Speakers will present on information and services available to organisations to enable them to support their employees to be more active.
