DESCRIPTION:Fully booked \nThis course\, delivered and certificated by British Red Cross\, is for anyone wanting a basic understanding of emergency care as well as a basic grasp of clinical theories. Although participants are continually assessed throughout the day and will receive a credit card-sized certificate that is valid for three years\, this course is meant for the general public and isn’t a workplace qualification. \n  This course will help you to:• Respond to the needs of unconscious casualties;• Perform cardio pulmonary resuscitation;• Respond to mild and severe choking for adults;• Respond to the needs of casualties with major injuries. \n    \nPrice: There will be a minimum charge of £40 which will include the course certificate.

DESCRIPTION:Take part in a national sleep out\, which is happening in Cardiff and across the UK. To take part you need to raise a minimum of £250 and pay a deposit of £25 on registering. You can do it on your own or as part of a team. You can register online at  https://regonline.activeeurope.com/LlamauSleepOut2012  pay your deposit and reserve your place.  \nThere will be entertainment\, refreshments and all round fun so this promises to be a fantastic event come rain or shine. You can also captain a team as Sleep Out Cardiff is targeted at companies and business in Wales\, with many employees forming a group to fundraise and participate together.
