Here are the dates: Tuesday 2\, Wednesday 3 October and Thursday 18 October. \n   \nAims: \nTo provide learners with the knowledge\, skills and confidence to plan\, prepare and deliver training sessinons. \n   \nContent:  This three-day course will give you an overview of learning theory\, improve your knowledge of planning tools for delivering and evaluating training\, and help you develop your confidence in designing and delivering training sessions.  \nTo gain the accreditation you will need to commit some time to complete the written assessment and to prepare a training session\, a section of which you will deliver in front of other course participants on the third day.  \nThis is a popular course\, which has been reviewed and updated this year. SUMMARY:South East Wales Participation Network
DESCRIPTION:This lively\, participatory workshop provides an opportunity for peers to engage\, share and support each other. \nAttendees come from a range of different organisations in the public and third sector that focus on a variety of issues. SUMMARY:Launch of European Funding Scheme
DESCRIPTION:This WCVA free event will launch a European funding scheme for the Convergence areas of Wales. The event will inform organisations about the Engagement Gateway project\, what it can invest in and will include a Q&A session.  \nThe Engagement Gateway project will invest in organisations that are working with the economically inactive and the hardest to reach. The project will focus on creating clear routes for progression for individuals to build their knowledge\, skills and confidence through a structured\, developmental approach to enable individuals to engage with mainstream employment activity.  \nThe launch event is free to attend and designed to inform organisations about the scheme\, what it can invest in\, and how organisations can be involved. \nTo reserve a place\, contact WCVA on 0800 2888 329. Places are limited so please book soon to avoid disappointment.  \nEngagement Gateway grants will be available to any organisation; however activities must be delivered to participants in the Convergence areas of Wales: Anglesey\, Gwynedd\, Conwy\, Denbighshire\, Ceredigion\, Pembrokeshire\, Carmarthenshire\, Swansea\, Neath Port Talbot\, Bridgend\, Rhondda Cynon Taf\, Merthyr Tydfil\, Caerphilly and Torfaen. \nEngagement Gateway is funded by the Wales Assembly Government and European Structural Funds (European Social Fund).
