SUMMARY:The meaning of Due Regard  under the Rights of Children and Young Persons (Wales) Measure 2011 training workshop
DESCRIPTION:This ‘Wales Observatory on Human Rights of Children and Young People’ training workshop will consider the meaning of ‘due regard’ and how Welsh Ministers should approach the discharge of their due regard duty under Section 1 of the Rights of Children and Young Persons (Wales) Measure 2011. The workshop will also examine what might be the implications for law and policy making in Wales (including implications for the local government and NGO sectors) . \nThere are a few places left on this course. If you would like to book a place\, please send an email to E.P.Rees@swansea.ac.uk with the words Due Regard Training in the subject line. They will send a booking form on a first come\, first served basis. If you do not receive a form this is because all places have been allocated.  \nThe cost is £20 per participant (maximum 25 participants).
