DESCRIPTION:This is a really important course for committee members (trustees) of voluntary organisations and employees who work for them. \nBy the end of the session\, you will:· \n – Have an understanding of trustee roles and responsibilities· – Be clear on how aims or legal objects should reflect your organisation’s values or mission – Identify potential liabilities and how to guard against them· – The importance of strategic planning which would allow scope to discuss understanding of the external environment and devising appropriate responses\, including formal and informal partnerships \n“This is an excellent course that should be delivered before someone becomes a trustee”   \n“Really informative course that covered each of the roles and responsibilities well” \nThis course is run over 2 evenings; the second day is on 11th September (same time)
