DESCRIPTION:The Riverside Festival has been an important part of the summer’s events in Cardiff for a number of years. It plays a valuable role in helping Riverside People meet and learn more about each other – to help them feel proud of where they live and promote a positive image of their community. \nThe Festival is especially keen to promote the multicultural character of Riverside to encourage different groups in the community to meet and to learn more about each other. \nThere is an opportunity for organisations to hire a stall at the event. DESCRIPTION:The Gambian Association in Cardiff is holding a fundraising event with well-known Gambian traditional ‘KORA’ band and DJ Lucky Bob.All money raised will help purchase bed nets for rural villages in the Gambia to prevent mosquito bites that cause Malaria. \nYour support is life changing. Everyone is welcome. \nEntrance fee: £10 – includes food.
