SUMMARY:Engendering Change: Gateway to opportunity
DESCRIPTION:For women who want to make a difference!Adamsdown Communities First and “People can” have come together with Women Making a Difference and the Workers Education Association to offer a unique training programme which gives women – particularly those women who are under-represented because of race\, disability or age – the opportunity to learn new skills and gain confidence to take a more active role in their community as well as in public and political life\, and have more influence on the decisions that impact on their lives.The training is FREE and a crèche and lunch will be provided. The course is accredited by the National Open College Network and successful candidates will receive a NOCN Level 1 progression Award. \nThe course runs from Monday 16 January until Wednesday 14 March 2012. The course will be two days a week\, every Monday and Wednesday 10am – 3pm  for eight weeks. \nYou can attend a taster session on Monday 9 and Wednesday 11 January (ideally you need to attend both dates).  \n
