DESCRIPTION:  \nSpecial offer – book 3 or more places and save £25 per person! \n  \nBy 2021 the numbers of people with dementia across Wales will have increased by 35%. Dementia will increasingly affect tenants and service users and could even impact on a personal level with family members diagnosed with dementia. \nDelivered by an Alzheimer’s Society Approved Trainer\, this interactive training course is flexible\, enabling the delegate to attend the morning\, afternoon or all day depending on the learning need.  \nThe morning session is recommended for anyone requiring a basic level of dementia\, understanding the different dementia types\, how it affects the brain\, different stages of dementia\, etc. whilst the afternoon is more advanced covering\, amongst other things\, reminiscence\, activities in dementia\, identifying holistic and individual barriers and adopting a ‘working with’ rather than ‘doing to’ approach. \n
