Building a consensus for action on climate change – the process towards a Zero Carbon Wales. \n“Here at Environet we are on a mission to stimulate action for the environment and of course climate change is something that affects us globally\, no matter where we are. \n We’re teaming up with Zero Carbon Britain – the Centre for Alternative Technology’s flagship project\, The Office of the Future Generations Commissioner (OFGC) and WWF Cymru to deliver 2 day long sessions in Wales: \nThursday 13th July – Bangor University\, Bangor Friday 14th July – Culture & Media Centre\, Cardiff \n Join us as we explore the vision for a zero carbon future and the barriers that we need to overcome to achieve it. We’ll also hear about the political context for Wales with the Well-being of Future Generations Act and the carbon budgets required by the Environment Act and the social\, demographic and technological trends that are emerging. With a mixture of presentations and workshop sessions we aim for delegates to leave feeling inspired and re-energised both to act themselves and to influence outwards and upwards.”
