SUMMARY:Writing your safeguarding policy
DESCRIPTION:The aims of this  WCVA course are to: \nTo provide a practical guide to developing and implementing a safeguarding policy for working with any vulnerable group – children\, young people and adults \nTo consider how a safeguarding policy can complement and fit within an overarching organisational policy framework \n\n\n   Content\n\nThis course will help you draft an outline safeguarding policy specific to your own organisation. If you already have a safeguarding policy\, this is an opportunity to review\, update and share good practice. \nAlthough a standalone course\, it will make reference to parts of the safeguarding self assessment tool which is covered in full in Assessing Safeguarding within your organisation. \nYou will look at what your organisation should do to support safeguarding when working with any vulnerable group: children\, young people or adults.
