DESCRIPTION:  \nThis NewLink Wales course is designed for practitioners who are working with individuals who are in an abusive relationship and have the added complexity of substance misuse. \nVoluntary Sector WORKERS- £140.00 Statutory Sector WORKERS – £150.00 This includes facilitation\, handouts\, refreshments and a buffet lunch Learning Outcomes: By the end of the course participants should be able to: \n\nDefine the different forms of abuse\nAnalyse why individuals remain in an abusive relationship\nDescribe the impact that substance misuse has to individuals in an abusive relationship\nRecognise the risks associated with individuals fleeing abusive situations where substance misuse is involved\nRecognise the impact that co-occurring parental substance and domestic abuse has on the family\nIdentify appropriate referral pathways and service provision\n\n All of the Newlink Wales courses are designed within National Occupational standards. \n  \nTo book onto the course or for further information contact:  Telephone: 02920 529002 or info@newlinkwales.org.uk or www.newlinkwales.org.uk
