SUMMARY:Welsh Language Commissioner’s training: Developing bilingual services
DESCRIPTION:This training will offer practical solutions and advice to enable organizations to plan\, develop and deliver bilingual services to the public in Wales. \n  The training will cover:– Setting the context: Welsh language awareness training– Assessing current bilingual provision– Specific advice regarding Welsh language considerations relating to recruitment\, translation\, technology and design– Preparing an action plan for developing bilingual servicesThe training is aimed at third sector organizations beginning to develop their bilingual services as well as those who want to revisit and renew their Welsh language commitments. The course is also suitable for SMEs.The course will be suitable for policy officers and managers. \nAlthough the Cardiff course will be through the medium of Welsh\, all materials provided are bilingual\, and the session will be very informal.The course will be delivered by Trywydd Cyf on behalf of the Welsh Language Commissioner.
