SUMMARY:Volunteer Recruitment\, Selection and Induction training
DESCRIPTION:The training will help you improve your knowledge on Volunteer Recruitment\, Selection and Induction. It would be suitable for volunteer managers\, coordinators\, supervisors\, team leaders and individuals who have responsibility for recruiting\, training and managing volunteers. Volunteers are welcome to apply and will be allocated a space\, on a first come first served basis. By the end of the course\, you will:  \n\nBe familiar with a range of methods to attract a diversity of volunteers\nRecognise ‘selection’ as a two ways process and be familiar with a range of selection tools\nUnderstand the use of vetting procedures including DBS checks and recognise their limitations\nUnderstand the purpose and nature of a) volunteer agreements and b) volunteer induction\nRecognise potential uses and abuses of volunteers’ personal information\nRecognise ways in which volunteering can be made more accessible to all\n\nDate: Thursday 9th December 2021 \nTime: 2 pm – 4:30 pm \nThe training will be taking place on Microsoft Teams and the link will be sent through within 24 hours of the training taking place. \nFor further enquiries\, contact C3SC on 07973 725 335 or enquiries@c3sc.org.uk \nWe are look forward to seeing you!
