SUMMARY:Voluntary Sector Strategy Consultation
DESCRIPTION:Cardiff Third Sector Council has commissioned Richard Newton Consulting to support the development of a Voluntary\, Community and Social Enterprise Strategy which is to be co-produced with involvement from the breadth of the sector operating in Cardiff. The Strategy is intended to strengthen the role of the VCSE sector in the provision of solutions to the City’s challenges and support future discussions about how and why the public sector should work with and invest in the sector. \nWe want the strategy to be owned by Cardiff’s voluntary sector\, and ensure that all voluntary sector organisations (including unregistered groups\, social enterprises\, CIOs\, CICs\, charities and other relevant groups) have full opportunity to participate. \nWe are now at the stage where we are looking for feedback on the draft framework that has been prepared and can be found here. We hope that you can take some time to read the draft framework and offer us your thoughts at the focus group*. \nThe draft strategy and feedback forms (previous stage) are available here in English or here yn Cymraeg. \nPlease ensure you sign up ahead of time to guarantee your place to give us all of your thoughts\, ideas and comments. And please do also let us know is you have any specific communication needs so we can do our best to accommodate them! \nLook forward to seeing you there! \n*There are various ways in which you can feed back your thoughts on the strategy\, one of which being attending a focus group to give us your opinions and ideas. We will be holding a number of these groups\, at different times of day and different times of the week to ensure your availability.
