DESCRIPTION:This C3SC network helps Management Committee Members\, Trustees\, Chief Officers\, and Staff to be more confident and connected in your role.\n\n\nC3SC’s Third Sector Leaders’ Network: meeting Wenesday 15th October. \nWe are pleased to invite you to attend the next C3SC Third Sector Leaders’ Network event which will be taking place online on 15 October from 2:00pm to 3:30pm. \nThe focus of this session will be Safeguarding and empowering Third Sector Leaders with the knowledge and skills to develop compliant strategies to safeguard children and adults creating a safer environment for all. \nThis session will feature a presentation from Owain Rowlands\, Regional Outreach Advisor (Wales) – Disclosure and Barring Service who will run an “Advice Cafe” on Safeguarding from a trustee’s perspectives. \nThe Network is an opportunity for leaders in the Third Sector\, Management Committee Members\, Trustees\, Chief Officers\, Senior Staff and Staff who hold the portfolio for safeguarding to feel more confident about their safeguarding responsibilities. Please join us to come together\, share learning and good practice\, make alliances\, and receive up to date information. \nWe hope you will be able to join us online for the workshop – bring your coffee for what promises to be a highly participative session! \nPlease circulate this invitation to anyone in your group\, organisation\, or network who will be interested in joining the discussions. \nThe event will be taking place online via Teams and the link will be sent through 24 hours prior to the event.
