DESCRIPTION:One day\, two chances to get your charity on the ball and up-to-date – a double header of seminars aimed at charity trustees delivered by Watts Gregory LLP and Whittingham Riddell Chartered Accounts. Come to one or both!   Understanding and preparing accounts under the new SORP: The new charity SORP (Statement of Recommended Practice) came into effect in summer 2014 and applies to all charities except those that prepare their accounts on a receipts and payments basis.   Protecting your charity from risk and fraud: Helping to make you aware of the ‘danger signs’ and of the sort of controls needed to minimise risks\, this seminar will also provide a refresher on good general and financial risk management. \nFind out more on the WCVA website.
