DESCRIPTION:A seminar for trustees \nMore and more third sector organisations are exploring tendering for public service contracts. But the world of procurement can at times seem daunting and complex. What role should trustees have in the process? And what are the Board’s responsibilities when their organisations tender for contracts? \nThis introductory seminar will provide guidance about the key considerations of tendering for trustees. It will discuss the changing funding landscape for the third sector in Wales; explore the key differences between grants and contracts; consider the implications of contractual relationships; and explain the duties of those who sit on governing bodies as their organisations bid for public service contracts. \nAfternoon tea will be served prior to each seminar.  \nPrice \nWCVA members (excluding e-members): £15 WCVA e-members/non-WCVA members: £25 \n Book via the WCVA website.
