SUMMARY:South East Wales Participation Network event
DESCRIPTION:The theme of this Participation Cymru event is ‘Participating through the arts’. \nAre you interested in widening your engagement activities and exploring new approaches for participatory decision making? \nThese events will be an opportunity for people and projects to share their creative approaches to engagement; also for other engagement practitioners to share their perspectives on related issues of co-design\, co-production and participation. \nThese regional participation networks are suitable for anyone working in the field of participation and citizen engagement. This network event is also suitable for artists and academics who are interested in socially engaged practices and public participation. \n\nThursday 6th October – Cardiff\nTuesday 11th October – Rhyl\nThursday 13th October – Llanelli (TBC)\n\nAttendees come from a range of different organisations in the public and third sector that focus on a variety of issues. The events are suitable for anyone from any level within an organisation that has an interest in practical participatory work\, including consultation officers\, trustees\, volunteers\, development workers and managers. \nThese practitioner networks are lively\, participatory workshops which provide an opportunity for peers to engage\, share and support each other. \nThey provide an invaluable opportunity to: \n\nMeet other practitioners in your area\nShare good practice\nShare ideas\nProblem solve\nDevelop participatory skills\nAcquire new skills\n\nRegister for this free event.
