DESCRIPTION:The regional participation networks are suitable for anyone working in the field of participation and citizen engagement. \nAttendees come from a range of different organisations in the public and third sector that focus on a variety of issues. The events are suitable for anyone from any level within an organisation that has an interest in practical participatory work\, including consultation officers\, trustees\, volunteers\, development workers and managers. \nThese practitioner networks are lively\, participatory workshops which provide an opportunity for peers to engage\, share and support each other. \nThey provide an invaluable opportunity to: \n\n\nMeet other practitioners in your area \n\n\nShare good practice \n\n\nShare ideas \n\n\nProblem solve \n\n\nDevelop participatory skills \n\n\nAcquire new skills \n\n\nThe topic of discussion at the next participation network events will be the Future Generations (Wales) Act. \nThe Well-being of Future Generations Act is about improving the social\, economic\, environmental and cultural well-being of Wales. \nIt will make the public bodies listed in the Act think more about the long-term\, work better with people and communities and each other\, look to prevent problems and take a more joined-up approach. \nThis will help us to create a Wales that we all want to live in\, now and in the future. \nBook online
