SUMMARY:Protection of Vulnerable Adults (POVA) Level 3 training
DESCRIPTION:This Cardiff Council course is for Adult Services Team managers; Social Workers and anyone with Case Management / Care Co-ordinator responsibility; managers of residential homes and managers of domiciliary agencies. \nIt is essential that all participants have attended (or completed previously) the Recognition and Referral Training (Level 2 POVA) or have completed refresher using the E-learning package at this level. \nOverview of Training: \n\nStages of Strategic Process\nRoles and responsibilities within the strategic process\nGathering/sharing Information\n\nAims of the course: \n\nTo provide practitioners with an understanding of their role within the POVA strategic process.\n\nObjectives of the course: \nAt the end of the course you will be able to: \n\nUnderstand the scope and purpose of the POVA process.\nUnderstand your role and responsibilities within the POVA process.\n\nFacilitator: Kevin Jones\, Independent Adult Protection Consultant and Trainer \nA Certificate of Attendance will be issued to participants who attend the whole session.
