SUMMARY:'Prepare to Care' Training Programme
DESCRIPTION:“Prepare to Care” is a joint training programme provided by Hafod Care\, Hafod Housing\, Cardiff Council Into Work and Adult Community Learning Services and C3SC’s ECLP Communities First team. \nLearners will attend a four week programme gaining a Level 1 Agored Cymru accreditation in Care options\, they will be also get trained in SOVA\, First Aid and other care related skills. Participants will be guaranteed an interview and successful candidates will start a 2 week volunteering work placement at the earliest opportunity\, which in most cases will lead to a job in home/domestic care. Should no jobs be available at that time\, the candidates will stay “on the books” for a further 6 months and prospects of securing a job in the care sector are very high. \nThe programme starts with an Induction Day on 5th October! \nFor further information or to book a place\, please contact 07813 620162 / rachael.b@c3sc.org.uk
