Key policymakers and stakeholders at this seminar will discuss the future shape of regeneration policy in Wales.
Sessions will assess progress in implementing the Welsh Government’s Vibrant and Viable Places regeneration framework following the report of the Ministerial Advisory Group – released in October 2015 – and remaining challenges and priorities for the next stages of regeneration policy in Wales. Delegates will discuss the further development of Enterprise Zones; the use of targeted funding for the priority areas of high streets and town centres, coastal communities, and Communities First clusters; and ways to facilitate improvement of the coordination of regeneration efforts between business, Welsh Government, local authorities and the third sector.
