DESCRIPTION:This NewLink Wales course is specifically for people who have undertaken a 2-day Motivational Interviewing course within the last 4 years and want to refresh and update their knowledge and skills. All too often practitioners attend a two day course and several months later they either forget all about it\, or can’t quite remember what they did and how to put it into practice. If you are that person – this course is for you!   \nVoluntary Sector WORKERS – £65.00 Statutory Sector WORKERS – £75.00 \n THERE ARE FULLY FUNDED SPACES AVAILABLE TO PRACTITIONERS WORKING WITHIN CARDIFF AND VALE OF GLAMORGAN \n This session will provide learners with:  \n\nAn opportunity to reconnect with the principles and concepts of the approach\nA chance to practice the skills in a safe environment\nTime to reflect on the place of Motivational Interviewing in your work practice and setting.\n\n  This is an ‘open’ course and as such you may find yourself with workers from a selection of other health and social care disciplines.  If you would like a course to be specifically arranged for your team\, please don’t hesitate to contact us. \n Trainer: Viv Mumby runs the STARS training and supervision project.
