SUMMARY:Manual Handling - All Wales Passport Training
DESCRIPTION:This Cardiff Council training is ideally suited to staff who are new to social care although it is open to all social care staff who haven’t previously attended training to the standard of the All Wales Manual Handling Passport. \nThe following modules will be covered over the three days of training. \nModule A – Introduction \nModule B – Inanimate Load Handling \nModule C – Sitting\, standing\, walking \nModule D – Bed mobility \nModule E – Lateral Transfers \nModule F – Hoisting \nThis is an Agored Cymru accredited course and is worth 4 credits at level 2. \nParticipants will be awarded the passport provided they have fulfilled the assessment criteria when completing the modules. \nParticipants must attend the entire duration of each of the three days in order to be eligible for the passport. \nTo book\, please email SCWDP at Cardiff Council at scwdp@cardiff.gov.uk or call (029) 2078 8428. \n
