SUMMARY:Local Safeguarding Children Board Child Practice Review Learning Events
DESCRIPTION:  \nTarget Group: Staff\, volunteers and carers from any LSCB agencies\, commissioned providers and the voluntary sector in Cardiff or the Vale of Glamorgan. \nEach Learning Event will comprise two half-day sessions\, with the morning content repeated in the afternoon. \n AM Session – 9.30am – 12.30pmOr PM Session – 1.30pm – 4.30pm \n    \n  \nCourse Content:   \nAim \n – To provide an environment in which practitioners and their agencies can learn from Child Practice Reviews and Serious Case Reviews \nObjectives \n – Establish whether there are lessons to be learned about the way in which local professionals and agencies work together to safeguard children – identify clearly what those lessons are\, how they will be acted upon\, and what is expected to change as a result – improve inter-agency working to better safeguard children – identify examples of good practice – support individual services and professional groups in their shared responsibility for protecting children \n   \nCourse Facilitator: A range of speakers and facilitators\, both external and drawn from LSCB agencies. \n To request a place\, please email csbooking@cardiff.gov.uk  with your full name\, job title\, workplace address\, telephone number and email address.
