SUMMARY:Introduction to Volunteering training Thursday 26th May 2022
DESCRIPTION:This training\, delivered by the Cardiff Volunteer Centre\, will help you improve your knowledge on welcoming volunteers to your organisation. It would be suitable for volunteer managers\, coordinators\, supervisors\, team leaders and individuals who have responsibility for recruiting\, training and managing volunteers. Volunteers are welcome to apply and will be allocated a space\, on a first come first served basis. By the end of the course\, you will:  \n\nUnderstand the nature and scope of volunteering and how it differs from paid work​\nRecognise how and why organisations involve volunteers in their work\nAppreciate the resource implications of involving volunteers\n\nDate: Thursday 26th May 2022 \nTime: 2 pm – 4:30 pm \nThe training will be taking place on Zoom and the link will be sent through within 24 hours of the training taking place. \nFor further enquiries\, contact C3SC on 07973 725 335 or enquiries@c3sc.org.uk
