SUMMARY:GVS Vale of Glamorgan Governance Conference
DESCRIPTION:During the run up to National Trustees Week\, Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) is hosting the first ever Vale of Glamorgan Governance Conference on Wednesday\, 8th November 2017 from 10.30am to 1pm at the Bear Hotel\, Cowbridge\, CF71 7AF\, Vale of Glamorgan. The cost for attendance is £12.00 per person including light refreshments. There is adequate car parking in the Town Hall Car Park near the Bear Hotel. \nSpeakers include Sir Stephen Wall\, the UK’s former Permanent Representative to the European Union and Chair and Trustee of the Kaleidoscope Trust and Dr. Mair Rigby\, Governance and Safeguarding Manager with Wales Council for Voluntary Action. Sir Stephen will be speaking about the challenges for Trustees and the Third Sector in a post Brexit Britain. He will also touch on the broader challenges of Brexit in terms of its likely economic and policy impact. \nOperating in the third sector delivers many challenges.
