SUMMARY:Getting the Best from Your Volunteers - 19 March 2025
DESCRIPTION:The training will help you improve your knowledge on getting the best from your volunteers.\n\n\nThe training will help you improve your knowledge on Getting the Best from your Volunteers. It would be suitable for volunteer managers\, coordinators\, supervisors\, team leaders and individuals who have responsibility for recruiting\, training and managing volunteers. Volunteers are welcome to apply and will be allocated a space\, on a first come first served basis. By the end of the course\, you will: \n\nUnderstand what motivates and de-motivates volunteers\nUnderstand good practice in relation support and supervision\nRecognise and be able to manage a variety of difficult situations\nKnow when and how to terminate a volunteering relationship\nBe able to assess needs for training and development and recognise different ways of meeting these\nKnow how to give appropriate recognition to volunteers\n\nDate: Wednesday 19th March 2025 \nTime: 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm \nThe training will be a hybrid event. In-person attendees will participate at Butetown Community Centre.
