DESCRIPTION:Join this 2-day introductory training course aimed at third sector staff and trustees who are new to individual giving.\n\n\nThis is an introductory course for those new to individual giving and covers the importance of individual giving practices\, what motivates people to give and help to develop your organisation’s strategy and case for support for fundraising from individuals. \n \nThis training course will be delivered over 2 days\, participants must be available to attend both sessions. PLEASE SELECT TICKETS FOR BOTH DATES TO CONFIRM YOUR AVAILABILITY TO ATTEND. \nDay 1 session: Tuesday 29th September 2026; 12:30 – 14:30pm \n\nIntroduction and understanding the importance of individual giving.\n\n\nWhat is individual giving- distinguishing between different fundraising income streams.\n\n\nDifferences between different types of individual giving and any relevant rules eg Gift Aid\, HMRC tax relief on payroll giving\, gambling law.\n\n\nBe able to develop strategies and cases for support for fundraising from individuals.\n\n\nPractical exercise – matching benefits for the organisation\, benefits for the donor and accompanying legislation.\n\n \nDay 2 session: Wednesday 30th September 2026; 10:00am – 12:00 noon \n\nWhat motivates people to give\nCreating your Individual Giving plan\nWhat are the best individual giving income streams to develop in your organisation.\nHow to cascade information to your trustees.\nSignposting for wider resources and suppliers\n\n \nThe event will take place on Teams\, and the link will be sent through the day prior to the event. \n \nAs part of our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality\, well-resourced training\, we have recently introduced a revised pricing structure for statutory and private sector attendees.
