SUMMARY:First Ever Fertility Information Day in Wales
DESCRIPTION:  \nAround 1 in 6 couples in the UK today have difficulty conceiving\, affecting over 3.5 million people. The prospect of facing any kind of infertility can be very distressing to live with and many people believe that no-one else really understands what it feels like to have to face this. Infertility Network UK provides information and help those affected by infertility; through investigations\, treatment and beyond. \nAs a result of an Awards for All grant the charity is staging its first Wales Fertility Information Day in Cardiff. This follows success events in Scotland and Northern Ireland. The cost of the day is £10 and tickets can be purchased via http://bit.ly/1tkwTEf \nOn the day there will be a range of talks covering everything from what to expect at your first appointment to counselling and complementary therapies. Hear speakers from leading fertility clinics in Wales including Dr Hemlata Thackare and Louise Mitchell from London Women’s Clinic Wales and Paul Knaggs from Wales Fertility Institute – as well as Dimitrios Kafetzis from Newlife Clinic in Surrey. Specialist acupuncturist Jackie Brown who has a clinic at the Centre FOR Reproduction and Gynaecology in Wales’ fertility counsellor Wendy Martin and Ann Bell from Adoption UK. Finally\, Infertility Network UK trustee and fertility author Jessica Hepburn will be there\, talking about her personal experiences of infertility. \n  \n
