DESCRIPTION:The aim of this WCVA course is to enable participants to develop a needs analysis for their area\, community or project that will stand up to scrutiny and be useful for project planning and evaluation. \nThis course will: \n\nIntroduce the background to needs analysis and its role in project development and evaluation\, including the impact on staff\, volunteers and the community you work with.\nOutline the types of evidence that are useful and the role of different kinds of evidence.\nIllustrate the use of publicly available statistics and research reports and how to apply these to your project.\nDiscuss how you can ‘fill in the gaps’ where there is no evidence available.\nHelp you to develop a strategy for your own needs analysis\n\nFind out more and book via the WCVA website. \n
