DESCRIPTION:C3SC in partnership with the Disclosure and Barring Service brings you this DBS Safeguarding Dual Training Workshop\n\n\nDate: Thursday 20 November 2025 \nTime: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM \n \nThis two-hour workshop\, focusing on the Voluntary and Community Sector\, will cover:- \n\nWhen an employee is eligible for a DBS check\nDBS Update Service\nWhat regulated activity is\nThe three different barring referral routes\nWhen a DBS barring referral should be made\, including when there is a legal duty to refer\nHow to make a good quality referral\nThe consequences of not making appropriate barring referrals and being included on one or both Barred Lists.\n\n \nOwain – Regional Outreach Adviser – from the Disclosure and Barring Service will be delivering this online training session. \n \nThe event will be taking place on Microsoft Teams and the link will be sent through within 24 hours of the event taking place. \n \nFor any further enquiry contact C3SC on 02920 485722 or enquiries@c3sc.org.uk
