SUMMARY:DBS Barring Referral Training Workshop
DESCRIPTION:As part of the National Safeguarding Week 2021\, C3SC and Disclosure & Barring Service orgnaising  this DBS Barring Referral Workshop\n\n\nCaro from the Disclosure and Barring Service will be delivering this online training session. \nThe overall outcome of the session is to have a greater understanding of DBS\, its products and how DBS can work with organisations at all levels to promote and encourage safer recruitment and safeguarding in its widest context. \n Date:  Wednesday 17th November 2021 \nTime: 2:00pm – 4:00pm  \n \nThe learning outcomes from this sessions are:- \n•	Understand the benefits of DBS and you (employer) working together \n•	Understand the three different referral routes \n•	Understand when a DBS Barring referral should be made\, including when the legal duty is met  \n•	Understand Regulated Activity / Relevant Conduct and Harm Test  \n•	Understand how to make a good quality referral  \n•	Have a clear understanding of the consequences of not making appropriate barring referrals and the consequences of being included in one or both Barred Lists \n•	Myth Busting Quiz  \n \nThe event will be taking place on Microsoft Teams and the link will be sent through within 24 hours of the event taking place. \nFor any further enquiry contact C3SC  on 07973725335  or enquiries@c3sc.org.uk  \nWe are look forward to seeing you
