DESCRIPTION:C3SC in partnership with the Disclosure and Barring Service brings you this DBS Barring and Referral Training Workshop. \nThe overall outcome of the session is to have a greater understanding of DBS\, its products and how DBS can work with organisations at all levels to promote and encourage safer recruitment and safeguarding in its widest context. \nDate: Wednesday 27 November 2024 \nTime: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM \nThe learning outcomes from this session are: – \n\nUnderstand the benefits of DBS and you (employer) working together\nUnderstand the three different referral routes\nUnderstand when a DBS Barring referral should be made\, including when the legal duty is met\nUnderstand Regulated Activity / Relevant Conduct and Harm Test\nUnderstand how to make a good quality referral\nHave a clear understanding of the consequences of not making appropriate barring referrals and the consequences of being included in one or both Barred Lists\nMyth Busting Quiz\n\nGeorgie – Regional Outreach Adviser – from the Disclosure and Barring Service will be delivering this online training session. \nThe event will be taking place on Microsoft Teams and the link will be sent through within 24 hours of the event taking place. \nFor any further enquiries please contact C3SC on 02920 485722 or enquiries@c3sc.org.uk \nWe are look forward to seeing you.
