DESCRIPTION:In times such as these\, with charities having to cope with serious financial pressures\, it is vital that trustees have a reasonable understanding of charity accounts and of the financial information that they need to exercise proper governance. \nThis WCVA seminar is aimed at trustees and accountants\, to point you in the right direction and clarify what previously may have puzzled you. \n – A simple overview of the key elements of charity accounts – types of fund\, activity based reporting\, SOFAS\, etc. – Common errors being made in charity accounts as reported by the Charity Commission – What financial information should a trustee have to do his or her job properly \nThis seminar is hosted by Watts Gregory\, chartered accountants and business advisors. \nLunch will be provided following the seminar.  \n
