SUMMARY:Celebrating International Older People’s Day
DESCRIPTION:A well-being fun day to celebrate international older people’s dayA number of stallholders will offer information and advice on a whole range of services. Join in activities:Nordic walking\, tap and ballroom dance\, computer and animation sessions\, cycling tasters … and more. This fun day event will operate an open door policy. All ages welcome – no charge.  Free Tea coffee and biscuits available. \nMain hall stallholders (confirmed to date): \nAge Concern \nAge Cymru Nordic Walking \nAdult Learners \nEveryone’s Future \nLeisure Services \nParkwood Leisure \nLlantwit Major Arts Group \nLlantwit Major U3A \nPedal Power \nVale Adult Learners \nVale of Glamorgan Council Welfare Rights \nValeways Walking Group \nVale Volunteer Bureau \nVale 50+ Strategy Forum \n  \nWorkshops (confirmed to date): \nThere may be some slight changes to the programme.          \nAnimation – Leo and Natasha \nBallroom Dancing – Parkwood Leisure \nArt tasters – Llantwit Major Arts Group \nNordic Walking – Age Cymru \nBike and Trike Tasters – Pedal Power \nTap dancing – 11:30 \nZumba – A C Rural Connections – 10:30 \n  \nAlso Adult Community Learners will be offering 4 half hour computer taster workshops in the Llantwit Major Library next door. All four workshops will have places for up to four people. \nWorkshop times 11:00 – 11:30   11:30 – 12:00    12:00 – 12:30    12:30 – 13:00       \nIf you would like to pre-book a computer session\, please contact John Porter (see below for details). \nThe University Of The Third Age Singing Group will be offering musical entertainment at 2:00pm.
