DESCRIPTION:The topic for the August meeting is ‘Paying for Care’. Your questions can be answered by Jessica Reeves\, who is an Independent Living Visiting Officer. \nThis group is specifically for those who are currently caring for someone with dementia either in their own home or in a residential home. The aim is to provide support to family members within their caring role and for carers to share their experiences and feelings. The Alzheimer’s Society also provide talks and workshops within these sessions on subjects that will be of interest to carers. The talks will take place between 7pm and 8pm leaving time for carers to spend time together talking informally. \nFor more information please ring (029) 2043 4960.
