SUMMARY:Cardiff Volunteer Co-ordinators' Network event
DESCRIPTION:Fully booked \nYou’re invited to the first network event of 2015! There will be presentations and updates of interest to volunteer-involving organisations in the area. Topics include: how engaging with the arts can help sustain volunteering; the launch of the working group for the ‘Songs of Sanctuary’ project\, and the latest news on the situation with community asset transfers in Cardiff. The session will also include a presentation on the GwirVol Youth Volunteering Grants Scheme which aims to support the delivery of a wide range of new volunteering opportunities in Wales and overseas that aim to ‘support the step change in access to volunteering for young people aged 14-25 and especially for disadvantaged young people’. Tea and coffee will be available.
