DESCRIPTION:The second annual Cardiff Media Summit is being held on November 11th to discuss the findings of the IWA’s Media Audit which will be launched ahead of the conference. \nThis is a major survey of the media in Wales – across print\, broadcast and online and in Welsh and English – which is being carried out by the IWA’s media policy group and academics\, and will include data and commentary on the state of the Welsh media. \nBBC Director of Strategy\, the former Culture Secretary\, James Purnell\, will be delivering the keynote address on the challenges facing the BBC ahead of Charter Renewal and the future of the licence fee.
