DESCRIPTION:GVS and C3SC invite you to the next meeting of the Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Trustees’ Network which will be held during National Trustee Week as follows: \nTopic: Good Governance in the light of the collapse of Kids Company \nIn summer 2015 the Kids Company a high profile\, flamboyant and unique children’s charity collapsed. It is the largest and highest profile charity to go bust in recent times. So what happened? What can we learn from the findings that have been released to date? If your organisation was to come under similar scrutiny would you feel confident of your own governance? \nGeldards solicitors will be giving a keynote presentation entitled “Good Governance in the light of the collapse of Kids Company.” Not only will the presentation cover what went wrong\, it will also cover what steps trustees can take to safeguard their organisation.
