SUMMARY:C3SC Training: Substance Misuse Awareness
DESCRIPTION:We regret that this course has been cancelled. Apologies for any inconvenience. \nThis course is delivered by people with personal experience of addiction\, treatment and recovery. It is intended to benefit any staff or volunteers who may come into contact with individuals who have the potential to misuse substances\, are misusing substances or have misused substances. This course is delivered in partnership with Nu-Hi. \nAttending this course will enable you to: \n\nExplain what is meant by the term ‘substance misuse’\nList the reasons why people misuse drugs\nIdentify patterns of behaviour\, signs and symptoms of use\nName the different categories and effects of drug use (including Lethal Highs)\nIdentity the risks associated with substance misuse\nList the different referral pathways and support options\n\n– “Incredible Session!
