SUMMARY:C3SC Training: Community Fundraising
DESCRIPTION:This course will explore how to maximise fundraising opportunities by working with local communities. It will enable you to raise funds from local communities through developing volunteer networks. \nThe course demonstrates the importance of taking a marketing approach to identify appropriate fundraising activities. It emphasises the importance of good practice in the management of volunteers\, including planning fundraising activity\, and recruiting\, supporting and developing volunteers to achieve fundraising success. It also introduces the concept of leadership and the importance of communicating an appealing vision which is attractive to volunteers. \nAttending this course will enable you to: \n\nCreate a plan for fundraising from your local community\nDevelop appropriate cases for support\nDevelop a network of local groups\nRecruit\, manage and support fundraising volunteers\nImplement community fundraising activity\nEnsure you comply with relevant legislation and best practice\nKnow where to go for further information\, help and advice\n\n“This was a brilliant session – I have learned so much.
