Bawso is organising an awareness raising event about Human Trafficking to mark the International Anti-Slavery Day. 

The ‘Reflection on Human Trafficking’ Mirror Campaign will be launched by Joyce Watson AM, Steve Chapman and Mutale Merrill (Chief Executive of Bawso) who will also give talks on the subject of human trafficking.

As part of the campaign, a mirror will be installed to provoke people to reflect on their roles and engagement on the issue of human trafficking. People will also be invited to sign a pledge to contribute to the fight against Human Trafficking. Bawso’s Human Trafficking Team will be there to talk to people about the subject of Human Trafficking. This is an opportunity to gain more information about Human Trafficking and help raise awareness about the subject.

Please be advised that the signing of the pledge will start at 9.00 am and the main event will take place at 10am – 11am.
